Best of 2026 · pool, lawn, home and office
Plain verdicts on pool robots, robot mowers, humanoids and office robots: who each one suits, the price we saw on the maker's store, and what owners complain about. Written with Florida screen cages and warm-season lawns in mind. Based on spec sheets, FCC filings and owner reports, not hands-on tests.

Pool robots
$2,299 at beatbot.com, seen Oct 29, 2026Beatbot lists a $3,150 compare-at price
The most complete cordless robot in our picks: camera mapping, surface skimming, a two-layer basket and a 3-year warranty. Owners like the cleaning but report floating on sloped pools and drain-cover snags, so it suits standard shapes best.
Robot mowers
$2,799 at us.mammotion.com, seen Oct 29, 2026
The all-wheel-drive pick for yards that defeat two-wheel mowers. Owner threads report both strong results and returns over lawn damage and software faults.

Robot vacuums and mops
$1,299.99 at us.narwal.com, seen Oct 29, 2026
Our mopping pick. Narwal's track-style FlowWash mop rinses itself with heated water as it cleans, and owners with pets, kids and a parrot say floors come out smooth and clean. $1,299.99 buys the basic dock; the auto refill and drain version is $1,399.99. Software reliability is the risk: some owners report Wi-Fi drops, a stuck auto-empty and units going offline after a few months.
